B8 Bronze as base
The abbreviation PST stands for Paiste Sound Technology and includes cymbals of different designs for different skill levels. In the PST5 series B8 bronze is used as a base for the basins. This alloy consists of 92% copper and 8% tin and has been improved and optimized by Paiste over the years. Some people also know this material mix as bronze in 2002, because this alloy is also the basis of Paiste's popular 2002 basin series;
